Aside from the administration house, the architects Buszko and Franta designed one more building in the heart of the Silesian Park. Known today as “Roundhouse”, “Dovecote” or “The Naturalist”, the building in Różana avenue was originally built for the Polish Association of Messenger Pigeon Keepers, and served for many years as the headquarters of the organisation. However, the “Roundhouse” is an element of a larger concept related to arranging the area to host flower exhibitions, which included a palm house and the “Hat” Exhibition Centre. The concept was realised only partially and without the key element, i.e., the palm house which had a very interesting architectural composition, with cylindrical structures and circular floor plans.
